Quality care on a budget
Mitch adopted Luke from Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL) several years ago. While he has limited funds, he’s always been able to get Luke the care he needs at the low-cost MD Petcare clinic at AAWL.
When Luke unexpectedly injured his eye, though, Mitch worried the surgery Luke needed would exceed what he could afford to pay. What he didn’t realize was that AAWL had received a $15,000 Veterinary Medical Equipment Grant that allowed them to purchase new equipment that made Luke’s surgery and follow-up care much more affordable.
Luke has recovered from his surgery and is back to his happy, healthy self!
